Rhys Bartels-Waller

After graduating from Western Sydney University with a bachelor degree in design studies, Rhys was drawn to software development with a desire to streamline processes and improve the experience of users. Since 2012 he has been developing web applications and contributing to open-source projects. He uses domain-driven design principles along with reactive, task-based UI design and event sourcing to store domain state in an append-only manner. Rhys has experience in managing containerised production stacks on scalable cloud infrastructure. He joined IOHK in 2018.
