Michael Fellinger

Michael Fellinger is a self-taught full-stack developer with diverse experience over two decades. He joined IOHK in 2019 after working in industries such as telecommunications, web design, gaming, real estate, SaaS, streaming services, social networking, and e-recruiting.

He speaks German, English, and Japanese fluently, and is trying to learn Spanish as well.

After learning dozens of programming languages for frontend and backend, Michael discovered Nix in 2016, and has been using it to maintain his sanity, while waiting for a chance to start using functional programming everywhere.

He’s a NixOS community member and maintainer of the Ruby infrastructure in Nixpkgs.
