Jürgen Nicklisch-Franken is a software engineer with 30 years of professional experience and a passion for functional programming. He started his career in the financial sector and later switched to transportation industries. He has developed safety-critical, real-time systems in the automotive, train and military sectors. Jürgen has founded two companies (Persist AG 1998 and Symbolian 2015) and joined IOHK in 2020.
