John Ky

John Ky holds a BEng in computer engineering from the University of New South Wales. He has worked in diverse areas, including CPU scheduling software, trading systems, and data engineering for DDoS mitigation. He rediscovered functional programming at FP-Syd meetings in 2009 and started applying the techniques professionally with Scala before moving on to Haskell. He is known in the Haskell community for his work on succinct data structures. John joined IOHK in 2020.
