Georgios Panagiotakos

Georgios Panagiotakos joined IOHK in 2021 after holding a research post in the department of informatics and telecommunications at the University of Athens. He obtained a PhD from the University of Edinburgh under the supervision of Aggelos Kiayias, and holds a diploma in electrical and computer engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. His research interests lie in distributed protocols and cryptography, with a focus on blockchain protocols and Byzantine agreement.
