Erik De Castro Lopo

Erik de Castro Lopo holds a BEng in computer engineering from the University of Newcastle in Australia. After graduation, Erik worked as a hardware design engineer before moving into low-level systems programming in C. He rediscovered functional programming in 2004 by learning OCaml and then switched to Haskell four years later. He joined IOHK in 2018.
